He sat there, in the back of the van, he his hand sat next to his sisters, but not close enough to touch, He heard her sniffled, “Enma, will we be okay?”

“Aurelie, I promise we will be” Enma whispered, but he wasn’t so sure, his twin sister and him where just sold. He frowned, the last time was really the LAST Time.

“If we only we’d known” Aurelie said, “We’re only 10”

Enma frowned and looked out the window, “The world is a cruel place”

Enma hissed, as he felt the nails of this woman dig in his skin, it was a common thing, it had been for years, they were nothing more then house cleaners, free labor, though Enma and Aurelie were not allowed to touch.

“If you can NOT do the job right, then how will your dear sister stay safe?” The woman hissed, the venom in her words.

Enma growled and nodded, giving in to her demand, saying he’ll do it again. She seemed happy and threw him down. Enma growled and stared at his hands, a dark red glow to them. He whispered, hopping it go away, it was the reason him and Aurelie were sold, the reason they couldn’t touch. He saw Aurelie walk by, she smiled at him and he frowned, He promise he save them.

It was the middle of the night, Enma was asleep on the floor while Aurelie took the mattress, they heard a noise, Enma sat up and looked over at Aurelie who sat up to. There was a bang on the door, and suddenly the woman’s husband, drunk, you could smell his breath from across the room.

“What do you want?” Enma glared

“The girl” He said getting closer grabbing Aurelie, Aurelie cried and tried to get out of his grasp, pleading and he told her to shut up. Enma got made he held his head, he opened his eyes, which were now completely red, He screamed. Suddenly red spikes came from the floor and shot off in all directions, hitting everything and everyone, except Aurelie.

“Enma!” Aurelie yelled, “ENMA!!”

Enma stopped, he looked, the man was dead, the both ran downstairs, so was the woman, They were free, until the police showed up, “We have to go Aurelie”

“W-What?” She whispered

“We have to go!” Enma said

They both ran out the front door, they raced down the street, they didn’t know where they were going, but they know they needed to go somewhere, anywhere but there. Enma looked at back at Aurelie who smiled at him, he smiled back and they ran more, making it all the way to the edge of town, “Where do we go from here Enma?”

“I don’t know” He whispered, It was true, he didn’t know, he wasn’t prepared for this, or even getting this far, Aurelie went to touch him but remembered, they couldn’t.

“You guys didn’t get very far” A voice said, the both looked, a woman, short with brown hair, blue eyes, she smiled as a man stood next to her, “I know where you both can go, I know where you can go to learn to control your powers, and be able to hug again”

Enma glared, “No. We can do it on our own”

“And where will you go?” The taller man said

Enma looked, that was true, where will they go. He looked at them, Him and Aurelie just escaped one hell hole he didn’t want to lead them into another, “Enma” Aurelie spoke quietly, he looked back at her, “Lets go with them”

Demi’s mother smiled, “Enma and Aurelie, Welcome to the place where psychics and wolves meet, and I’m sure we have people for you”

“WOOW!” Aurelie smiled, practically stars in her eyes, “This place is amazing”

“Whatever” Enma said

Demi’s mother smiled and laughed, leading them to her office, “Man how long you gonna keep a crew waiting?!” A boy with red hair groaned

“I’m Sorry Kaito, but I brought you guys surprises” She smiled, “Meet Enma and Aurelie” Enma and Aurelie looked at the group, she smiled, “The first twin psychics born, at least that we know of”

“Why do you need all four of us?” Harper asked

“Because, they can’t control their powers, they amplify each other”

Aurelie giggled, “SEE!” she hugged Enma’s arm, and pink and red collided, and it exploded everywhere. Enma finally got free of Aurelie’s grasp, and looked at the group, Aurelie giggled, “I think it was pretty”

Demi’s mom smiled, “So Rae and Harper, you will be Aurelie’s wolves” Aurelie squealed and ran over to the girls, “Oh my god! We’re gonna be the best of friends!!” Suddenly a glow appeared, and on their chest, were the marks that bonded them for life.

“Enma, you will have Kaito and Emmett” Jeremy’s dad said

Enma kept to himself, no glow happened, but everyone knew why, cause Enma wasn’t as trusting as Aurelie, and if Aurelie wasn’t with him, he probably wouldn’t stay.

But this was the start, the start for Enma and Aurelie, for their new life, and their new family.
