Saving Lucy part 2

“What makes you think we’ll find him?” Demi asked floating next to Ariel

“Because, obviously he wanted my attention, and now he has it” Ariel said

“Or he’s a dumbass” Grey muttered

“or both” Wolf said and lowered his hood, “My vote goes to both”

Ariel looked around, he stepped over a falling tree, and checked his water, “We need a refill”

They walked a couple miles and found a small lake, Ariel jumped over another falling tree, Are they safe over there?

Safe over here, are you all still alive?  Taja asked

Yeah still kicking Ariel filled his small water bottle, telling his assassin team to stick close to the family, but don’t let them know or they surely protest. Ariel filled his water and heard a splash, he looked up and saw a woman, well at least the top part was, the bottom part was a fin, she had long light brown hair, and blue eyes, she smiled and didn’t say anything all Ariel’s friends looked confused, then it clicked.

“Cover your ears!” Ariel covered his ears, and he saw everyone else do so to, right before she sang, she was Siren, she lured men to her death with her song, Ariel thought, Men….”Demi!” he yelled, “Your a woman! Your immune! Come cover my ears!”

Demi gently let go of her ears, she floated over and covered Ariel’s ears, Ariel grabbed an apple from his belt, and tossed it. Getting it right in Maya’s mouth, he looked at her, “She’s a Siren, don’t find most of them in this part of Nexus, guess this is why she decided to hole up here” She glared, upset that she had indeed been figured out, she took a pissed off bite of the apple and fell back in the water, “Lets keep moving” Ariel said, he put down a bag of apples for the Siren, and stoop up going back on the path.

Braxton frowned and sat in the cell, he looked up to see a goblin look at him, “I’m James” he said shyly, “Who are you?”

“The man who tried to kill the queen” Chase said walking down the steps, James looked up and saw Hayden behind him, “We brought food” Chase said and stepped aside, to let Hayden slip him under bars

Braxton looked and looked away, “Whatever”

James frowned and rolled around a diamond, “Did you do this job because your friend?”

Braxton made a noise, he stared at the plate of food, and they heard another click, he looked up to see Queen Crystal walk downstairs, she smiled and gently sat down, “Braxton, Eleanor” she gently wiped dirt off her dress, “I have a proposition for you both” No one talked, she smiled, “Be at my services” They both looked up at Crystal, confused, and Crystal smiled, “Be my hired assassins when I call, be at my services, use your skills for good, and not for this”

They walked, Ariel frowned, and walked froward, he heard a noise, he looked to the side, then he just as quickly pulled out his sword and it was now pointed at the throat of who he only assumed was the Imp, Jeremy, He smiled and stood there, “Look who came”

“Go find Lucy” Ariel talked to the other three

“But Ariel-” Demi frowned and just nodded, “You can count on us!” They all ran off.

Jeremy laughed, “You came to play, I was hoping you would”, Ariel glared, he never said a word, he just held the sword, Jeremy frowned, “Fine I guess we won’t talk”, he glared and pushed Ariel hard as he smacked in to a tree. Jeremy laughed, and Ariel got up and while Jeremy laughed he threw a rock and hit him smack in the forehead. Jeremy growled, and Ariel smirked picking up the sword, “And you thought I’d play faaaaiir”

Jeremy growled and ran at him, Ariel quickly jumped up and grabbed a branch, he swung back and kicked Jeremy on to the ground. Ariel jumped and held the sword, He saw Jeremy get up the fight was just getting started.

“LUCY!” Wolf yelled

“LUCY!!” Grey yelled, he melted into the shadows to move faster

The three found a run down old cabin, it was the only building in the forest for miles, they heard a squeak, they all turned and ran down the stairs, there she was chained to a wall. Demi ran over and grabbed the chains, she whispered and pulled the chains apart, Wolf picked up Lucy and they all ran out.  They ran through the forest and heard a loud noise, They all ducked as Ariel flew through the air and slammed through the wall of the cabin.

Ariel coughed, he stood up and pushed some debris off of himself. He stood up and saw Jeremy float around, “What do you want exactly?”

“You dead” Jeremy said flying around

Ariel growled, “Why?”

“Because…..your very high profit, I need money” Jeremy smiled

Ariel growled more and swung his sword clipping Jeremy in the knee, he yelled and looked at him, Ariel gripped his sword, “There are better ways to make money you know” He pointed his sword at Jeremy, “But If a fight to the death is what you want, its what you’ll get” Jeremy smiled and pulled a sword he had stolen out his belt, and they both ran forward clashing swords.

As they went back and forth, Ariel finally saw and opening, he backed up and kicked the sword out of Jeremy’s hands, kicked him down and pressed the tip of the sword to his heart, Jeremy smiled, “Do it Kill meee” Ariel growled and gripped the sword, getting more mad. But he sighed, and returned his sword to his belt.

“W-What?” Jeremy looked at him

“Come back with us” Ariel asked, “Be apart of Nexus, I can give you jobs, and a place to belong, it must be lonely here”

“There he goes again” Demi muttered leaning on the door frame

“Just like his mom” Grey said

Wolf had Lucy on his back, and smiled, “Thats what will make him a great king!”

Ariel held out his hand for Jeremy, “Come home with me”

“LUCY!!” Camrie and Robbie yelled, running over and hugging her, Lucy laughed and hugged them.

Crystal walked over to Ariel and smiled, she checked his face, then he moved to reveal Jeremy, “I’m sure we can find a place for him right?”

Crystal smiled at Ariel, and gently touched Jeremy’s chin, “There will always be a spot”
