Grim Reapers Chapter Six

Demi sat down, “Hi.” the reaper didn't talk, “My Name is Demi, an-”

“your the strongest reaper for your age. I know you” He stared at her

“AH I'm popular I see” Demi smiled, “Who is your leader?”

“None of your business!” He hissed, “but you'll meet her, she's especially interested in you”

“should I be flattered?” Demi asked, “Because honestly thats creepy”

Behind the one way glass, Ariel sighed, “Leave it to Demi to turn this into a game”

Jeremy stared at her, she was calm and a smile on her face. Jeremy blushed slightly. There was something about this girl he liked, he watched her stand up and walk outside. Jeremy walked out, and saw her in the hall way, she looked up, “Hi Jeremy”

“Hi” he stood in front of her, “You look tired”

“I kinda am” she shrugged, “But I'll be fine”

“Its not healthy to go so long without sleep” Jeremy grabbed her hand, “Where would the team be without you?”

Demi blushed and tried to pull her hand out, with very little success, “J-Jeremy”

He frowned, “you work to hard” he got closer, “you should let me carry some of the work” he kissed her hand softly, Demi blushed and pulled her hand away, “N-No thats okay!” and walked back in the room. Jeremy sighed, and walked back in the room, he looked over at everyone staring at him, and his probably red face.

“Alright” Demi smiled, in the other room, “You have two options” He looked at her, “YOU tell me who your leader is OR your the one who is going to be rotting away for all her misdoings”

He still didn't talk, he sat back and smiled. Like he was expecting something to happen, then there was a loud a boom. Demi looked out, “Their coming so save you aren't they?” he smiled and Demi stood up, “I should kill you so their to late. But Since they'll get in my way, I'm sure my partner is already out there”

She was right Jeremy was already out where the boom was, fighting off the giant crowd, while she pulled cracking a neck he heard Robbie speak up, “We can't keep doing this alone!”

“I know!” Jeremy yelled turning to kick someone in the face, “But Demi needs time!”

“MOVE!” Jeremy heard a yell, Jeremy moved to the left, and saw Demi holding up her two cannons.

“3...” Ariel said

“2...” Drake said

“1” Ariel said

“Fire!” Demi yelled, and giant beams shot out of the cannons, getting a good chunk of the enemies. Jeremy smiled, “Nice job!”

“ENOUGH” someone yelled, Demi and Jeremy looked up, the woman had a hood over her face, and a sword in her hand, “I'll handle this now” she removed the hood, and looked up at Demi, she flipped her bright red hair and smiled, “Hello Demi”

“Hailey” Demi growled  

“Hello” she smiled, “Shall we start?”

Hailey ran forward and raised her sword, only to be stopped by Demi blocking it with one of the hand cannons, she used the other one hit Hailey in the side, throwing her to the wall. Hailey used the wall the jump off and come back Demi blocked herself again and kicked Hailey back, Demi pointed her hand cannon at Hailey, then she realized Hailey came fast, Demi released Drake grabbed Keith and cut Hailey in the side of the neck. Drake then fit back on her hand.

“FUCK!” Hailey yelled, the blood poured out of her next, she stomped on the ground and suddenly light poured from the ground around her, and the soldiers on her side. Then she and them we're all gone. Demi sighed, “I should have known”

“you couldn't have” Ariel said placing a hand on her shoulder

“That manipulate bitch!” Demi yelled

Jeremy then threw Demi over her shoulder, “Come on lets go calm you down”

Demi pouted, “GO CHECK ON THE REAPER!” Demi yelled at Ariel, Drake, Keith and Robbie as Jeremy carried her off.

Jeremy ended up at her room, he placed her in her bed, “you need sleep”

“No Jere-hey what the hell?” Demi yelled

Jeremy was now on top of her holding her down, “Demi Hailey will always be around, but you can't keep going at 25% you need to sleep, and you need to do it now” Demi frowned and Jeremy sighed, “Demi even the greats needed sleep”

“Fine” Demi muttered blushing slightly

Jeremy blushed and smiled, sitting in a chair next to the bed, “I'll sit and wait, and make sure you go to bed” Not even five minutes later was Demi passed out, Jeremy chuckled and covered up lightly. He smiled and kissed her hand lightly. Then he snuck out of her room and shut off the light.

“Where's Demi?”

Jeremy jumped to see her weapons standing there, “In her room, she's sleeping”

“Wait” Drake said, “you actually got her to sleep?”

“Yes” Jeremy said, “Why?”

“Cause she fought us on it” Keith pouted, they all walked in the door and closed it.

'You liiike her” Robbie jumped on Jeremy's back

Jeremy blushed and looked away, “What? N-no”

“PUH-LEASE” the boy on Jeremy's back said, “You've liked her since the day you laid eyes on her all those years ago”

Jeremy blushed he remembered, the day he looked at her:

“Dad I don't understand where are we going?” A small Jeremy asked

“There is a new Finley in the house, and she wasn't born into the family, and I'd like her gone” his father said

Robbie held on to Jeremy's arm, he frowned and whispered, “Thats kind of mean”

Jeremy nodded, and looked out the window, he saw his father driving up a long drive way. Once the car came to a stop, Jeremy and Robbie hopped out, Jeremy's father following their footsteps and also getting out, leading them to the door.


“AH! Mr. Carter!” Zane yelled and smiled, welcoming them in. Closing the door, thats when Jeremy looked forward, he saw a girl, with short black hair, she had three boys behind her, but Jeremy looked at her. He blushed, he thought she was down right beautiful, he couldn't stop staring.

“THIS! Is Demi” Zane indicated to the girl, Jeremy looked at Demi, seeing the mark on her cheek, indicating she was apart of the Finley Family.

Jeremy remembers that first meeting, and every meeting after that, how with Age Demi seemed to get more beautiful, Jeremy blushed and sighed, “It doesn't matter if I do like her” Jeremy told Robbie walking in to there own room. Robbie glared at him, and hit him in the arm, “it does! It so does!”

Demi remembered meeting Jeremy, remembering how he provided some what of a challenge every time they fought. Thats why Demi was always excited to fight Jeremy, because she knew he always had something new to show off.

Demi woke up later that day, feeling ALOT better after sleeping, she felt very warm though, she looked to see Ariel and Drake on either side on her, and she looked a little lower to see Keith using her stomach as a pillow, she chuckled at her weapons.

“Do you llike him?” Keith asked sitting up rubbing his eyes

“Who?” Demi asked confused by the question

“Jeremy” Drake muttered not moving

“Oh” Demi thought for a moment, “well....I don't know”

It was true, she didn't know, but she got up and stretched with a smile on her face, “But I know how to find out where Hailey is hiding”
