Carter Vs. Ward

“Did you really have to come with us?” Naomi rolled her eyes as Julian followed his older siblings into school

“Yes I don't have school today! So I'm going to be bored!” Julian pouted

Everyone stared, It was overwhelming having all Carter's in one place, especially the school where they knew as THEIR territory. The Ward children all glared, all at once it seemed what did the Carter's have that they didn't? It had always been like this with the Ward's and the Carter's. Even Julian and Eliza couldn't stand each other and they were five. No one knew where the rivalry had come from, most people assumed it was probably that Payton loved Dillon.

But it went back farther then that, back to well Elementary school.

Flashback
Ryker smiled, “Come on Naomi you can do it!” he stood at the top of the slide. He was eleven, and he was helping his litter sister Naomi who was eight to climb up the slide.

“Be careful!” a Ten year old Dillon said, worried his little sister hurt herself

“I can do it!” Naomi giggled and climbed up, standing with her big brothers. She felt like a big kid, jut like them. She ran across the bridge that was hanging there, and giggled loudly. Ryker chuckled as he watched her, not wanting her to fall either. Dillon Sat down on one of the big toy steps, he was reading a book, his leg tired from running.

Dillon sat there, his book and himself all covered in sand from the ground, he spit it out and started to cry a little as some of it got in his eyes. Ryker and Naomi quickly jumped down and Ryker told him to tip his head back, which Dillon agreed to. Ryker took his water bottle and poured it in his eyes. Ryker looked up at a boy, with blonde hair and dark purple eyes, his Name was Jackson Ward

“What the hell is your problem!?” Ryker hissed

“Hey!” another boy, one Ryker knew well Named Payton, “Don't talk to him like that”

“HIM!?” Naomi yelled, “your BROTHER! Threw sand in Dillon's face!”

A blonde girl chuckle, she went by Kylie Ward “You shouldn't be yelling, your such a small girl”

Naomi glared, “I might be small, but I pack a mighty punch”  

“Please I'm not about to fight a SECOND Grader” The blonde girl scoffed

“Scared you'll loose?” Dillon stood up

“Don't come any closer” The boy who had kicked sand at him growled

That was were the lines were now crossed, and since that day it had became a consent struggle of Ward versus Carter.  The minute Julian and Eliza crossed paths, it seemed like they didn't know each other as Ward and Carter. Until Eliza broke Alan’s glasses on purpose. Julian didn't like it at all, he pulled a prank, he placed chocolate pudding in her seat, and she sat down and it looked like she pooped herself. She screamed and cried. Then the rivalry started, only later finding out, they were just carrying on the family rivalry.

Now All Carter's and all Ward's are in the same building, and the tension boiled. Through the years the Carter's grew higher in the status ladder, they we're nice, fun, protective, and had great leadership. While Ward's were the OPPOSITE of Carter's, they stayed the same, they were kind of mean, not as protective, 2 out of the four Ward's where kind of whores, and their leadership wasn't off the wall. With that in mind most people thought maybe thats what fulled the hate more, that the Carter's where what the Ward's wanted to be, but that was far off from the truth. Ward's didn't want to be like the Carter's AT ALL, made it a point to be as different as possible.

“Why is Julian here?” Eliza hissed

“The same reason you are” Jackson said, “NO school would have been bored'

“Well I was here first” Eliza said

“WELL the Carter's would shoot back since Julian came first, he was here first” Kylie said with a frown

Payton wasn't paying much attention, he was staring at Dillon Carter. His siblings rolled his eyes at the love he had for the younger boy that he was never going to get. Not that Jackson could talk since he JUST recently got over Naomi, and Kylie looked like she liked Naomi a little bit to. Dillon started to walk by and Jackson stuck out his foot and Dillon fell over landing hard on the floor, Jackson laughed.

“DILLON!” his siblings ran over to him, Dillon sat up and held his nose, as small amounts of blood flooded down. Ryker glared at Jackson, he was about to go punch him when Payton stood in his way. Naomi stood up and Kylie stood up glaring down at the girl, Julian held up and Apple, and Eliza held up an Orange, as Jackson still laughed and Dillon glared.

Everyone felt the tension between both families. It was like the air was suffocating, but the eight people standing there didn't notice, all they noticed was the hatred they had for each other. When Everyone was SO SURE a fight was going to break out the Principal came and stopped it before it started. Naomi smiled and blew a kiss to the Ward's as the Carter's walk off.

Julian sat at the table with is friends, Eliza walked by, and threw an apple at Julian. The 14 year old boy glared at his rival, the Ward girl. Britney grabbed his arm, “CAN I PUNCH HER!?”

“no Brit” he kissed her forehead, “I've handled it since we we're five I can handle it now”

Britney blushed, “Okay”

“Maybe she likes you” AJ said

“HAHAHA no.” Julian said

“yeah I see her as more of a vagina person. LIKE KENDALL!” Meghan yelled about her younger twin sister

Eve smiled and put her arms around Kendall's waist. Kendall blushed and looked away from her girlfriend. Julian stood up, “YO HOE YOU GOT SOMETHING TO SAY OR YOU GONNA GLARE?!”

“OH SHUT UP YOU RAGGY ASS WANNABE!” Eliza stood up yelling back

Both teens shot insults back and forth, and no one stopped it, they were to use to it. Especially since its been like this for years, and years. Julian and Eliza glared at each other, as if to draw another line over where their older siblings drew one all those years ago.

As the Carter and Ward Rivalry will always go on.
