Are you my enemy chapter Three

Demi's p.o.v.
We rolled out of the truck, and then sat on the ground for a minute that's where Ariel let out of a breath, “where the hell are we staying while we are here?”

I thought for a moment, I looked up at a sign and it was right where I wanted us to be. I stood up, “I know someone”

We walked changed forms and ran through the trees trying to be quiet. There was only one group of people I trusted while being here, one group who could probably help us, But I was hesitant, these people were human and I didn't want them to die because we need a place to stay, but I needed their help. Once we got to the main street we didn't walk together it looked weird, But once no one was looking we all came back together.

“how much farther?” Grey asked

“not much” I said, pulling the hood closer to my face so the wind would stop hitting it. I then walked up steps, I let out one breath...two breaths...three breaths and knocked on the door. I shoved my hands in my pockets and I saw the door open.

“Hello?”

I looked up and smiled, “Hey Dex.”

Dex's eyes widened, “Demi?!”

“SH!” I hissed, “Can we come in?” Dex looked at the rest of the pack and nodded, “Thanks, come on guys” I said having them following them in. I looked around, “Where is everyone?”

“They should be home in like ten...Demi their going to all kill you” Dex said

I sighed and pulled down the hood, “Yeah...I know”

My pack looked at me confused, but I didn't explain I would later. I kept my hands in my pocket leaning against the wall I was well aware of the silence that hung over us, I was well aware of Dex's confused glance but I didn't know where or even how to start, but once the rest get here maybe, just maybe I will know how to begin.

“DEX!” A voice echoed through the place, “WE'RE HOM-um there are a ton of people here?” I knew the voice it was Connor's voice.

I looked up at him, he gasped, then Topher walked in the same confused look on his face. I smiled a little, “Do you guys just like to take up the hall?!” A girls voice echoed through

“BRUH!” someone yelled

I saw them, Jaz and Carter. They glared and their hands were in fist, I expected this to happen I was prepared. Jaz came at me first her fist coming towards me, I ducked and swept my leg under her making her fall. Carter came at me and I rolled standing up and kicking his side knocking the air out of him. Jaz stood up and before she had a chance I spun around pressing the heel of my foot to the middle of her back, “This would be my win because I popped your spin”

Then before Carter could move an inch I put the tip of my foot to the side of his head, “and knock your brains out”

Carter smirked, “you still have it I see”

I put my foot down, “I just fought you both without taking my hands out of my pockets you tell me”

I looked at my confused pack, “Ah guys pack. Pack guys”

“um what?” Aubree asked

“as you can tell their no ordinary humans their ex killers” Then I heard growls, “Woah woah I said EX as in not killers anymore. They helped me when I was kicked out”

“And these guys are?” Connor asked

“This is my pack, Ariel, Maya, Aubree and Grey. And we really need your help”

“This is suicide!!” Topher yelled

“No it isn't” I said

“you want to take out the strongest leader!? In the strongest killing clan?!” Dex asked

“yes”

“How the hell are you calm with it!? How the hell could you do this to your pack?” Carter yelled

“I GAVE them the option. They could have backed down. THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO COME!” I glared, “I don't want anyone to die just as much as you!”

“This was our choice” Ariel said speaking up, “We want to do this!”

“So you just want us to hide you?” Connor asked

I nodded, and they all sighed at once nodding. I smiled “you guys are amazing!!!”

Later that night I was out back, I had told them that the leader of the pack worked at the local high school, then I told Grey and Aubree they were joining me and we would get ourselves enrolled. They didn't like that. But that sucks for them because this was happening. I heard footsteps come outside

“Hey Jaz” I said not looking at her

“Are you going to tell them?” she asked standing next to me

“Tell who what?” I said, but I knew who she was talking about, I knew what she was talking about but I didn't quite have the heart to say anything.

“Maya and Ariel, That Camrie, Robbie and their family lives here”

I let out a breath, “Not till after the job is done. That puts them all at risk and I hate risking my packs life why risk humans?”

“That makes sense...” Jaz smiled, “Its good to have you back”

“Good to be back” I said

“GET THE HELL UP!” I yelled banging pots together

“OH JESUS!” Maya yelled as she shot up

“What the living hell!?” Grey growled

“our getting creative....its annoying” Ariel glared

I smiled, “GOOD YOUR AWAKE! Get dressed we have training to do” I smiled, “OH CARTER GRAB THE BALL!!”

They all groaned as we stood on a field and track, I smirked, “I will be training you guys the way I was trained...It will be at least 10 times worse though”

“FUCK!” Aubree yelled

“NOW! We will be in this place for a while. So you need to learn more control when it comes to your wolf. We will be in a house, going to do normal human things, SO running is a great way to try and keep your wolf down, because while your running it makes it easier to shift into your wolf. I want you to suppress the urge and stay human”

“AND if we can't?” Maya asked

“WELL the minute I notice you start to shift. Carter is throwing this baseball at you”

“A Baseball?” Grey asked

“Yes NOW RUN!!” I yelled and I saw them all taking off, I watched closely and I saw Aubree was starting the change first, “CARTER HIT HER!”

Carter threw the ball and I saw it fly towards the blonde girl who knocked it and caught it, she yelped and dropped the ball, she looked at her hands “THAT THING BURNED ME!”

I nodded, “The baseball is made of wolfs bane. It helps you when you think of changing think of the pain. It should stop you”

Then I watched as the ran longer and Grey was losing control, I looked at Carter and the ball flew past me and got Grey in the face, he yelled and I saw a tiny burn mark, “This is how you were trained!?”

“Yes Carter was brutal as hell. I got a football though. AND you hell KEEP RUNNING!” I saw Maya out of the corner of my eye, she tried to hide it but she couldn't; before I could say anything Carter hucked the ball, Maya caught it and threw it back towards me, I kicked it over to Carter, “Nice job Maya.” she glared and I saw the red on her palms. Ariel had yet to change, but I could tell he was about to “Carter.”

“Right” he tossed the ball Ariel's way and it hit Ariel dead in the stomach, I heard the sizzle as it hit his skin. He winced but kept running, I hated hurting them, But this was the way they learned. They need to know this is important we are not cover by the shadows, or the tree. We have to rely on ourselves and the skills we have to blend in with normal living conditions.

I need them to know, this is how they survive.
